तीन-चरण प्रणाली के अनुक्रम को निर्धारित करने के लिए उपयोग किए जाने वाले उपकरण को चरण अनुक्रम संकेतक के रूप में जाना जाता है। बिजली आपूर्ति के क्रम में बदलाव से मशीन के घूमने की दिशा बदल जाती है। जिससे पूरी आपूर्ति व्यवस्था प्रभावित होगी। उचित कनेक्शन के लिए, चरणों के अनुक्रम को जानना आवश्यक है जो चरण अनुक्रम सूचक के उपयोग से किया जा सकता है।
