બુચહોલ્ઝ રિલે- ટ્રાન્સફોર્મરનું રક્ષણ (Buchholz Relay- Protection of Transformer)

બુચહોલ્ઝ રિલે ટ્રાન્સફોર્મરને આંતરિક ખામીઓથી સુરક્ષિત કરે છે. તે ગેસ એક્ટ્યુએટેડ રિલે છે. બુચહોલ્ઝ રિલે મુખ્ય ટાંકી અને સંરક્ષક વચ્ચે મૂકવામાં આવે છે. 500KVA કરતા વધુ રેટિંગ ધરાવતા ટ્રાન્સફોર્મરમાં આવા પ્રકારના રિલેનો ઉપયોગ થાય છે. આર્થિક દૃષ્ટિએ નાના ટ્રાન્સફોર્મરમાં તેનો ઉપયોગ થતો નથી.

Buchholz रिले ट्रांसफार्मर को आंतरिक दोषों से बचाता है। यह गैस सक्रिय रिले है। Buchholz रिले को मुख्य टैंक और संरक्षक के बीच रखा गया है। 500KVA से अधिक रेटिंग वाले ट्रांसफार्मर में इस प्रकार के रिले का उपयोग किया जाता है। आर्थिक कारणों से छोटे ट्रांसफार्मर में इसका प्रयोग नहीं किया जाता है।

English:-

The Buchholz relay protects the transformer from internal faults. It is the gas actuated relay. The Buchholz relay is placed between the main tank and the conservator. Such type of relay is used in the transformer having the rating higher than 500KVA. It is not used in small transformer because of economic consideration.
