MCB નો ઉપયોગ મોટાભાગના સર્કિટમાં ફ્યુઝ સ્વિચના વિકલ્પ તરીકે થાય છે. MCBS અથવા લઘુચિત્ર સર્કિટ બ્રેકર્સનો હેતુ ઓવરલોડ અને શોર્ટ સર્કિટ સામે રક્ષણ આપવાનો છે, જે કેબલ અને સાધનોને નુકસાન પહોંચાડી શકે છે.
