બૂસ્ટર ટ્રાન્સફોર્મર એ એક છે જેનો ઉપયોગ પાવર લાઇનના અંત તરફ વોલ્ટેજને ઇચ્છિત મૂલ્ય સુધી વધારવા માટે થાય છે. તેનો ઉપયોગ મુખ્ય ટ્રાન્સફોર્મરથી દૂરના બિંદુએ ફીડરના વોલ્ટેજને નિયંત્રિત કરવા માટે થાય છે. બૂસ્ટર ટ્રાન્સફોર્મરનું મુખ્ય કાર્ય ફીડરમાં વોલ્ટેજ ડ્રોપને વળતર આપવાનું છે જ્યારે ફીડર તેનાથી ખૂબ દૂર હોય.

बूस्टर ट्रांसफॉर्मर वह होता है जिसका उपयोग अक्सर वोल्टेज को वांछित मान तक बढ़ाने के लिए बिजली लाइन के अंत की ओर किया जाता है। इसका उपयोग मुख्य ट्रांसफार्मर से दूर एक बिंदु पर फीडर के वोल्टेज को नियंत्रित करने के लिए किया जाता है। बूस्टर ट्रांसफार्मर का मुख्य कार्य फीडर में वोल्टेज ड्रॉप की भरपाई करना है जब फीडर इससे बहुत दूर होता है।

Booster transformer is one which is often used towards the end of a power line to raise the voltage to the desired value. It is used for controlling the voltage of a feeder at a point far away from the main transformer. The main function of the booster transformer is to compensate voltage drop in the feeder when feeder is very far away from it.
