તે વિદ્યુત પાવર સબસ્ટેશનમાં સૌથી મહત્વપૂર્ણ તત્વોમાંનું એક છે. તે એક પ્રકારનો વાહક છે જે વિદ્યુત પ્રવાહ વહન કરે છે જેની સાથે ઘણા જોડાણો કરવામાં આવે છે. ક્રમના શબ્દોમાં, બસ-બાર એ એક પ્રકારનું વિદ્યુત જોડાણ છે જેમાં વિદ્યુત પ્રવાહનું ઇનકમિંગ અને આઉટગોઇંગ થાય છે. જ્યારે બસ-બારમાં ખામી સર્જાય છે, ત્યારે તે વિભાગ સાથે જોડાયેલા તમામ સર્કિટ સાધનોને ટૂંકી શક્ય સમયમાં સંપૂર્ણ અલગતા આપવા માટે ટ્રીપ કરી દેવા જોઈએ, દા.ત. It is one of the most important elements in an electrical power substation. It is a type of conductor carrying an electrical current to which many connections are made. In order words, bus-bar is a type of electrical junction in which the incoming and outgoing of electrical current take place. When the fault occurs in the bus- bar, then all the circuit equipment connected to that section must be tripped out to give complete isolation in the shortest possible time e.g. (60ms) so that the damage is avoided to the installation due to heating of conductors.
